Introduction

Migration of existing connected applications, integrate in new ecosystem, enhance and develop features in connected vehicle system to ensure robustness, performance and scalability of the solutions.
Approach
- The connected vehicle ecosystem was designed to support remote operations, diagnostics, over-the-air (OTA) updates, navigation, and companion applications.
- An OTA solution was developed and integrated using AWS cloud-managed services, enabling seamless connectivity with multiple offboard vehicle systems. To facilitate secure troubleshooting of prototype vehicles, reverse tunneling capabilities were implemented, allowing remote access during development and testing phases.
- We also migrated and integrated companion applications and the fleet management system, ensuring a unified and consistent user and operational experience. AWS cloud infrastructure was provisioned and configured to enable cloud-agnostic application deployment, supporting greater scalability and flexibility.
- A robust vehicle data management system was designed, incorporating a tiered storage approach—hot, warm, and cold—to optimize data access and storage based on usage frequency and relevance.
- Comprehensive documentation of the system architecture and critical design workflows was created to ensure maintainability, scalability, and streamlined future enhancements.
